Last weekend, we went out to Duchesne for a Christmas party. Peyton was excited because he got to open presents early. Then, of course, he wanted to help everyone else open theirs. He's loving Christmas. While we were out there we took a new family picture.
Whatever was said here, to get Peyton to smile, worked a little too well. We think we were talking about gross things. He likes to talk about that for some reason.
We ended up with this one, it turned out well, we thought. (With a little work...)

Thanksgiving
We went to Enterprise for Thanksgiving. Peyton had a good time with his cousins. We had a good flag football game (Heather's team won) and ate way too much, of course. Heather got the insane notion to go on a 9-mile run with Stacey. She made it, but is paying for it now with a sore knee.
Now, we can finally put up the Christmas tree. Peyton has been excited to put it up, but we told him we had wait until after Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Heather is happy someone finally gets as excited as she does for Christmas. We're teaching Peyton the important things in life, like how to pull funny faces.
And so far, this is all we can get Peyton to do with the potty.
